DAVE KERR’S BACKGROUND
Dave Kerr first started in real estate over 26 years ago, and in the ensuing years managed a sales region for a respected national homebuilder, sold high end resort properties in Florida and Michigan and managed the purchase, sale and operations of scores of residential apartment buildings for an Investment Management firm.   Prior to establishing himself in real estate in Illinois, Mr. Kerr also spent a number of years in the media, marketing, research and internet businesses, including many years as either President/SVP/CEO or VP/General Manager/SM of 4 different radio stations (including legendary Chicago radio stations WLUP, WMVP and WLIT as well as WKQX in Detroit), a research and marketing firm, and a large internet portal.   That unusually rich background and depth of expertise helped Dave and his wife, Lisa, develop their unique approach to marketing and brokering real estate, which in turn helped them to quickly establish one of the most successful real estate practices in the North Shore suburbs of Chicago.  In addition to receiving the President’s Club Award and recognition as the top agents (#1 in sales volume) in their Glenview office in 2006, Dave was given the Norma Strey Koenig Award in 2005, which is voted on by his Glenview peers and awarded to the person who most represents the company’s ideals of ethics, honesty and teamwork.
